This will be the first Safety Readiness Review (SRR) done at ESS. It is part of our formal review process before start of commissioning any system/component as part of the ESS Machine or Neutron Scattering Instruments.
The SRR will be conducted by a committee consisting of:
John E. Anderson Jr. Associate Head, Office of the Chief Safety Officer, Fermi Lab; Chairman
Yves Loertscher, Head of Occupational Health & Safety, CERN
Sam Jackson, Head of QSHE at Culham Centre, UKAEA
Katarina Norén, Head of Safety Group, MAX IV
Linda Coney, Head of Control Group, Target Division, ESS
Mattias Skafar, Head of Quality, ESS
Michael Plagge, OHS Officer, ESS
The committee will report and give an advice to the Associate Director of ESH&Q whether the system is ready to go into commissioning or not.
The Swedish Radiation Safety Authority will be observers of the SRR.
