The International Workshop on Spallation Materials Technology (IWSMT) has been the premier forum for exchanging the latest information on research and development of materials utilized in spallation sources and accelerator driven systems (ADS). It has also served as an outstanding venue for sharing operational experiences of accelerator-based neutron sources and the results of post irradiation examination (PIE) of hadron irradiated specimens and components. The fifteenth meeting will again focus on the progress with spallation source related materials studies, the issues encountered in operation and development of high-power spallation targets, and promoting open discussions to encourage new international collaborations. For this meeting, in order to encourage cooperation between the different international communities that share materials-related challenges and to explore synergies for uses of spallation sources, we would also like to invite the researchers working on facilities for high power accelerator-driven particle and nuclear physics, and medical isotopes production.
