Information for Presenters

Proceedings

As a special trial for this NOBUGS authors of accepted presentations can submit a paper for the conference proceedings.

Papers will be peer reviewed and published online with a DOI. By submitting a paper for publication you are agreeing to also review one.

Submission deadline was the 5th October to allow all reviewers to read the document and have any corrections completed at the conference.

We will accept papers with a maximum length of 6 A4 pages, including figures, references et al.

Please download and use the style templates (available for Word and LaTeX), contributions need to comply with these.

Preparing Presentations

At NOBUGS 2016 we have three different types of contributed presentation. The email in which you were informed of the acceptance of your contribution also lists as what type your presentation appears in the programme. See the relevant section below.

Posters

Spaces for posters in A0 portrait will be provided.

If you like to have your poster printed and delivered directly to the conference site on Sunday the 16th of October, you can upload it via Vesterkopi, choose "Frederiksberg" as department and write "NOBUGS2016" in the Comments. Vesterkopi will then get back to you with a request for payment of 400 DKK (incl VAT) to be paid via Paypal. The latest date and time to upload your poster is on the 12th of October at 12 pm. Your poster should be in pdf-format, in A0-format with a resolution of at least 100 dpi.

Alternatively, you can as always bring your poster that you printed elsewhere.

Mini Oral

A short 5 min presentation plus time for a short question.

Visuals must be run from the conference presenter computer at the lectern and uploaded a day in advance. For this type of presentation we accept most popular movie formats or PowerPoint slides. Slides must advance automatically and the whole slide show complete in 5 minutes or less, obviously.

Instructions for creating a self running presentation are available for PowerPoint 2010 and PowerPoint 2013-2016.

Oral Contribution

Normally 15 min of presentation followed by 5 min for questions and changeover. We strongly recommend using the provided computer for presentations (supported formats: PDF, Keynote and PowerPoint). Using your own hardware is possible if required.
