      Marie Portier, Innovation Business Unit Manager, Air Liquide

      Marie Portier holds a general engineering degree from Mines de Nancy. She started her career in 2000
      at Air Liquide in R&D (Paris Innovation Campus) as a research engineer. She worked in particular on
      the development of purification technologies and tools for optimizing the operation of hydrogen
      production units.
      She then joined the Air Liquide Engineering Department and AL-aT where she held several positions as
      product manager and proposal manager in the development of standard units (Oxygen production
      plants, Hydrogen membrane systems) and innovative technologies (CO2 Capture units) projects. In
      2011, she took on the Cryogenic Innovative Solution Development team management role in the
      Engineering Department.
      In 2016, she was then entrusted with the management of key Engineering Department Innovative
      development projects: Air Separation Unit disruptive development program, then of the Electrolysis and
      Hydrogen Liquefaction development program.
      Since 2021, she is managing the Innovation Business Unit at ALaT, within the Technical and Innovation
      Department, in charge of the execution of ALaT's R&D and Innovative technology development projects
      for the Air Liquide group and AL-aT customers.

      Andrew Goetz, Tango, ESRF

      Developing software since the mid-1970s, Andrew has been an active supporter of Open Source software and the development of Open Source software to benefit science and society throughout my career. He was one of the early adopters of the Linux operating system as a general-purpose operating system and have been promoting it since 1995. He was part of the team of developers who, based on their experience with the ESRF's first control system (TACO), proposed and designed the Tango Controls toolkit in 1999. Tango Controls has been adopted in many sites worldwide to control accelerators, lasers, telescopes, experiments, industrial labs and devices etc. He has been actively contributing to the Tango Controls community and chair the collaboration since 7 years on behalf of the community. Since 2019 he has been coordinating the Photon and Neutron Open Science Cloud (PaNOSC) as part of the EOSC project to make FAIR data reality by implementing scientific research data management for Open Science.

      More than 25 years at the ESRF in various projects, including the Project Leader for the preparation of the €250m ESRF Upgrade Programme and General Manager for the international Partnership for Structural Biology. He has 100 publications in journals.
      Ed is active in international cooperation and supporting light sources in emerging regions of the world.

      Pierre Kern, CNRS INSU

      Pierre Kern, Graduate of the École Supérieure d’Optique Pierre Kern holds his PhD in Astrophysics and Space Technology from the University of Paris 7.
      Research engineer at the Institut de Planétologie et d'Astrophysique de Grenoble (IPAG) he is a specialist in high angular resolution optics for astrophysics.He contributes to large developments for adaptive optics and interferometry programs, notably for the VLT (Very Large Telescope) of ESO (European Southern Observatory).

      Pierre Kern has also played an essential role in the emergence of a research activity on innovative technologies in micro-optics and guided optics applied to instrumentation in astrophysics, contributing to the recognition of the Astro-photonics theme at the international level. He was Technical Director of LAOG (formerly IPAG). He set up and was Scientific and Technical Director of the LabEx FOCUS dedicated to the development of new generation detectors for observation in Astrophysics. He is currently Deputy Technical Director at CNRS/INSU (Institut National des Sciences de l’Univers).

      Philippe Caillol, head of Y Spot Innovation Studio, CEA - Technology Research

      Philippe Caillol has been immersed in innovation since 2002. After several years with the Bouygues group, he joined Ideas Laboratory where he will become the director. Since 2015, within the CEA, he is one of the founders of Y.SPOT, the Open Innovation Center in Grenoble, where he has been managing the innovation studio since 2018.
